NEW DELHI, September 4: The BRICS Chief Justices’ Forum began in New Delhi on Friday, bringing together Chief Justices, Presidents of Supreme Courts and senior judicial representatives from BRICS member states and partner countries.
The three-day forum is being hosted by the Supreme Court of India and will provide participating judiciaries a platform to discuss major contemporary challenges facing justice systems around the world.

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with heads of judicial delegations on the opening day.
The meetings involve judicial leaders from Russia, China, Egypt, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Iran and Uzbekistan.
