After the change of power in Bangladesh, Islamic fundamentalists have a free hand. Now they are openly threatening the Hindu minorities of the country and openly threatening them not to celebrate Durga Puja. They are being asked not to celebrate Durga Puja or even participate in idol immersion. Due to this threat by radical groups, the organization of the Durga Puja festival has been forced to change the venue in some places.Durga Puja is one of the biggest Hindu festivals celebrated in India. This time it is starting from 9th October.
According to the Bangladesh Police, preparations are underway to celebrate the Durga Puja festival in 32,666 pavilions here. However, even before the start of Durga Puja, Hindus have started getting threats not to celebrate it. Also, Hindus celebrating the festival have been threatened with consequences.
Demand to stop the national holiday on Durga Puja

The protesters chanted slogans such as “Stop celebrating Durga Puja by blocking roads” and “Stop declaring Hindu festivals as national holidays.” These protesters are calling Durga Puja a trouble for Muslims.
Not only this, these fanatics have asked Hindus to put anti-India banners in temples to prove their loyalty to Bangladesh. There have also been reports of vandalism of idols in several areas of Dhaka. On September 22, madrasa boys vandalized an idol of Goddess Durga after storming a temple in Laxmiganj district.
