Madhya Pradesh Courts ₹9,625 Crore in Tech Investments, Including Data Centre and Lithium-Cell Projects

Indore, October 24, 2026: Madhya Pradesh has lined up five major technology projects worth ₹9,625 crore, spanning hyperscale data centres, lithium-cell manufacturing, electronics and global capability centres, as the state steps up efforts to position itself as an emerging semiconductor and advanced-technology hub.

The projects are expected to generate more than 4,450 direct jobs, while the state also received a separate set of fresh semiconductor and technology investment proposals worth around ₹5,800 crore during the Semiconductor Summit 2026 in Indore.

₹6,415-Crore Hyperscale Data Centre Planned in Gwalior

The biggest project among the five is a proposed ₹6,415-crore hyperscale data centre by CyTac RE.

The 50-MW facility is planned at Ganga Malanpur in Gwalior and represents one of the largest technology infrastructure investments announced for the state.

₹2,000-Crore Lithium-Cell Manufacturing Project

Una Ecosystems has proposed investing ₹2,000 crore in a lithium-cell manufacturing facility in Bhopal.

The plant is expected to have a production capacity of around 1.5 GWh, strengthening Madhya Pradesh’s presence in battery and advanced-energy manufacturing.

Indore to Get ₹500-Crore Global Capability Centre

Auriga IT Solutions has proposed a ₹500-crore Global Capability Centre in Indore.

The project is expected to generate around 3,500 jobs, making it one of the most employment-intensive investments announced under the latest technology push.

Electronics Manufacturing Projects Also Planned

Meena Circuits has proposed investing ₹400 crore in an electronic system design and manufacturing unit.

Kaynes Electronics is also planning a ₹310-crore electronics manufacturing facility at Badwai IT Park in Bhopal, with hundreds of jobs expected from the project.

State Also Receives ₹5,800 Crore in Fresh Proposals

Separately, Madhya Pradesh received technology and semiconductor investment proposals worth around ₹5,800 crore at the summit.

Spintronics AI Semiconductors proposed investing ₹1,800 crore in two phases, while Lalwala Industries proposed a ₹1,200-crore semiconductor manufacturing and chip-design project.

More Than 10,000 Jobs Could Come From Fresh Proposals

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said the ₹5,800-crore set of new investment proposals could generate more than 10,000 jobs.

Other companies proposing investments include Dhanush Healthcare Systems, Beyond Studios, Indusilica Semiconductors, Nanodrites Technology and Truechip Solutions.

Semiconductor Summit Draws Global Participation

The two-day Semiconductor Summit 2026 attracted more than 1,000 delegates, including representatives from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Sweden.

Discussions focused on semiconductor manufacturing, chip design, artificial intelligence, advanced packaging and the broader electronics ecosystem.

Semiconductor Centre of Excellence Announced

The Madhya Pradesh government has announced plans to establish a Semiconductor Centre of Excellence to support research, skill development, prototyping and innovation.

A separate Centre of Excellence for Photonics and Quantum Technologies is also planned as the state looks to build capabilities in emerging technologies.

Indore-Ujjain Corridor to Get Semiconductor Focus

The state plans to prioritise semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, advanced packaging and chip design within the Indore-Ujjain Economic Corridor.

The strategy is intended to create an integrated technology ecosystem rather than relying on individual manufacturing projects.

State Offers Incentives to Chip Companies

Under Madhya Pradesh’s Semiconductor Policy 2025, eligible companies can receive incentives linked to capital expenditure and central government support.

Additional benefits include reimbursement of certain stamp-duty and registration charges, interest subsidies and power-tariff support for eligible projects.

₹15,800 Crore Overall Investment Potential

Officials said the Semiconductor Summit has collectively paved the way for around ₹15,800 crore in semiconductor-sector investment, combining projects that have advanced to the land-allocation stage with fresh proposals announced during the event.

Madhya Pradesh Pushes to Become Technology Hub

The latest announcements reflect Madhya Pradesh’s attempt to compete with established technology and semiconductor destinations by offering land, incentives, infrastructure and access to engineering talent.

If the proposed projects move into implementation, they could significantly expand the state’s presence in data centres, electronics, batteries, semiconductors and advanced technology services.
