New Delhi, July 6: Security agencies launched extensive search operations across multiple Delhi courts and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) schools after anonymous bomb threat emails were received on Monday morning. The threats prompted immediate evacuation of premises, deployment of bomb disposal squads, and comprehensive security checks. After thorough inspections, authorities confirmed that no explosives or suspicious objects were found, and the threats were declared hoaxes.
The incident triggered a coordinated response involving the Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, dog squads, the fire department, and other security agencies.
Comprehensive Searches Conducted
Following receipt of the threat emails, security personnel quickly secured the affected locations while ensuring the safe evacuation of staff, students, visitors, and court personnel.
Bomb detection teams carried out systematic inspections of court complexes, school buildings, parking areas, classrooms, offices, and surrounding premises before giving the all-clear.
No Suspicious Objects Found
After several hours of detailed searches, officials confirmed that no explosive devices or suspicious materials had been discovered at any of the targeted locations.
Authorities declared the threats to be false alarms, allowing normal activities to gradually resume after security clearance.
Investigation Underway
The Delhi Police’s Cyber Cell and other investigative agencies have launched an inquiry to trace the origin of the emails and identify those responsible for issuing the threats.
Officials are examining digital evidence, including email servers, IP addresses, and other technical details, to determine the source of the messages and establish whether the threats were coordinated.
Security Measures Strengthened
Although the threats proved to be hoaxes, security has been heightened at sensitive public institutions across the national capital.
Police have increased patrolling around courts, educational institutions, and government establishments while advising administrators to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity.
Public Asked to Remain Calm
Authorities appealed to the public not to panic and to rely only on verified information issued by official agencies. They reiterated that every threat is treated with utmost seriousness to ensure public safety and that strict legal action will be taken against those found responsible for creating panic through false bomb threats.
The incident once again highlights the importance of rapid emergency response systems and close coordination among law enforcement and security agencies in safeguarding public institutions.
