Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams, who left for an 8-day space mission in June 2024, had a technical fault in her spacecraft. Due to which she had to spend 9 months in the space station. SpaceX launched the Crew-9 mission for their return. After spending more than nine months in space, Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams has returned safely with her colleagues (Sunita Williams safe landing). As per Indian time, her spacecraft landed near the Florida coast at 3:27 am on Wednesday. Along with her, the other two members of the Crew-9 mission, Nick Hague and Alexander Gorbunov, also returned safely. Let us tell you that SpaceX’s Dragon capsule landed in the Gulf of Mexico with the help of a parachute after a 17-hour journey from the ISS. After the successful landing of the Dragon spacecraft, all the astronauts including Sunita Williams were evacuated safely. As soon as they came out of the capsule, they waved towards the camera and expressed their happiness on returning to Earth.
