As soon as the Jaffar Express, which left for Peshawar from Quetta, Pakistan, reached Bolan, the fighters of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) attacked the train. To hijack the train (Pakistan Train Hijack), they uprooted the railway track itself. First they stopped the train by uprooting the railway truck and then took it to a tunnel. According to the information, there were more than 450 passengers in the train. In this, 140 soldiers of the Pakistan Army were taken hostage. Let us tell you that the employees of Pakistani Police, Army, Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) were on board the train and all of them were going to Punjab on leave. As soon as the Baloch Army got information about the airstrike, they directly threatened that if an airstrike took place, all 140 soldiers would be killed. Baloch rebels have claimed that they have killed 30 Pakistani soldiers.

Rescue teams have been sent to the spot amid reports of heavy firing on the Peshawar-bound passenger train.”
