Let us tell you that 10 Naxalites have been killed in an encounter between the soldiers and Naxalites in the Bhejji area of Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. The soldiers have also recovered many weapons including three automatic weapons from them. In fact, after receiving information early this morning, the DRG team had set out to surround the Naxalites. When the team reached, the Naxalites started firing in a hurry. In such a situation, the DRG team had to retaliate. According to reports, SP Kiran Chavan himself confirmed the killing of 10 Naxalites in this encounter.
We are working towards eliminating Naxalites from Chhattisgarh by March 2026
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, who was delighted with this achievement of the security forces, said that “his government is working on the policy of zero tolerance towards Naxalism.” He also said that “ensuring development, peace and safety of citizens in Bastar is the biggest priority of his government. The era of peace, development and progress has returned to Bastar. Pleased with the indomitable courage of the security forces, the Chief Minister said that “the elimination of Naxalites from Chhattisgarh is certain.” Vishnudev Sai further said that “We are moving forward in a planned manner towards fulfilling the target of elimination of Naxalites from Chhattisgarh by March 2026 set by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.”

More than 197 Naxalites have been killed this year
Let us tell you that the five Naxalites killed in an encounter with security forces in Bastar region last week were identified as senior cadres. There was a total reward of Rs 28 lakh on them. Police officials said that so far this year, the bodies of more than 197 Naxalites have been recovered in different encounters in Bastar division. Note that Bastar division has seven districts Kanker, Kondagaon, Narayanpur, Bastar, Bijapur, Dantewada and Sukma are included.
