New Delhi, July 5: The Delhi Government has withdrawn the temporary work-from-home (WFH) advisory issued for government employees after an improvement in the security situation in West Asia. The decision follows a review of the prevailing circumstances and comes as concerns over potential disruptions to international travel, energy supplies, and regional stability have eased.
Officials stated that normal attendance at government offices will resume, and employees have been instructed to report to their workplaces as per the regular schedule.
Advisory Withdrawn After Situation Review
The work-from-home advisory had been introduced as a precautionary measure amid heightened tensions in West Asia. Following a fresh assessment of the situation, the Delhi Government concluded that the immediate risks had reduced sufficiently to restore normal office functioning.
Departments have been directed to ensure a smooth transition back to regular operations without affecting public services.
Government Offices Resume Normal Functioning
With the advisory withdrawn, all departments, autonomous bodies, and government offices under the Delhi Government are expected to function with full physical attendance unless separate instructions are issued by the competent authority.
Officials emphasised that essential public services continued uninterrupted even during the advisory period.
Continued Monitoring of Global Developments
While restoring normal office attendance, the Delhi Government said it would continue to closely monitor international developments and remain in coordination with the Government of India and relevant agencies.
Authorities noted that any future administrative measures would be taken based on official security assessments and public interest.
Public Services Remain Unaffected
The government assured citizens that all administrative services, public welfare programmes, and departmental operations would continue without disruption. Employees have been advised to follow departmental instructions and maintain regular attendance.
The administration also reiterated its commitment to ensuring efficient governance while remaining prepared to respond to any unforeseen developments.
Focus on Administrative Continuity
The withdrawal of the advisory reflects improving regional conditions and the government’s effort to maintain normal administrative functioning. Officials stated that public institutions will continue to operate efficiently while remaining vigilant regarding any significant international developments that could affect public administration.
