Indira Gandhi organized the first World Hindi Day Conference
Let us tell you that former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi organized the first World Hindi Day Conference in Nagpur, Maharashtra in the year 1975. 122 representatives from 30 countries participated in that event. In this conference, there was a discussion about recognizing Hindi as one of the most spoken languages globally and promoting its use in international discussions.

World Hindi Day is celebrated on 10 January
