Who will be the new National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP National President)? This question has been a topic of discussion in Indian politics since last June. Deliberation is going on on this since the National President JP Nadda became the Health Minister in the new Modi government. So far, many names have come forward to take over the post of National President, but no one name has been finalized yet. However, now there is a discussion that the BJP party can hand over this responsibility to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
According to media reports, at this time the party is deliberating on many names, two of these names are from Maharashtra. One- Devendra Fadnavis and the other- Vinod Tawde. There are assembly elections in Maharashtra this year, so there is a high possibility that Devendra Fadnavis will be given the responsibility of the post of President.
RSS is also in agreement with Fadnavis’ name
Political experts say that after the defeat in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi has been stressing on strengthening the party’s hold here. In such a situation, work can be done on strengthening the organization by making Fadnavis the President. Recently, Devendra Fadnavis also met Prime Minister Modi. After this meeting, Fadnavis’ name is leading in the race for the President’s chair.
It is also being told that earlier there were differences between BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) regarding the post of President, but RSS is also in agreement with the name of Fadnavis. So that RSS can also play a big role in the politics of the center. Let us tell you that assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir this year. In such a situation, all the parties are busy preparing for the elections. BJP also needs a full time president to run the organization and prepare for the elections. Therefore, the party now wants to finalize the name of the new president as soon as possible. It is expected that BJP will get its new National President in the month of August itself.
