Announcement of ‘Pyari Didi Yojana’

The announcement was made by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office. This was the first major election announcement of the Congress.

The Election Commission of India has announced the dates for the Delhi assembly elections. Polling for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held on February 5 and the counting of votes will take place on February 8.
