Begum Hazrat Mahal
Begum Hazrat Mahal inspired the villagers to revolt during the 1857 war. Begum Hazrat Mahal worked for the independence of the country along with fighting against British rule throughout her life.
Neera Arya
Neera Arya made a huge sacrifice for the independence of the country. In fact, Neera Arya once killed her husband to save the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. For this, Neera Arya was sentenced to imprisonment in Andaman and Nicobar Jail. Neera was a female spy of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army.

Usha Mehta
Usha Mehta was the youngest woman to participate in the Indian freedom movement. When she was only eight years old, she participated in the ‘Simon go back’ protest with Gandhiji. Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit
