Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a four-day visit to the US. PM Modi will first inaugurate the first Indian Consulate in Paris along with French President Macron and then co-chair the AI Action Summit. He will also visit the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor Project in Marseille. PM Modi is on a two-day visit to the US. US President Donald Trump has invited PM Modi for the ceremony.
Ahead of his departure, PM Modi posted a special message on his social media account. “I will be on a visit to USA, where I will take part in various programmes. I will attend the Quad Summit being hosted by President Biden at his hometown Wilmington. I look forward to the deliberations at the Summit. I will also be having a bilateral meeting with President Biden. In New York, I will be attending the Summit of the Future. I will also be addressing a community programme in the city.”
Talks to be based on discussions held during Trump’s previous tenure: PM Modi
I will be in France and USA for the next few days to attend various events, PM Modi said in a tweet. In France, I will be co-chairing the AI Action Summit. From here you will also go to Marseille. During this visit, I will also hold talks with President Macron to further strengthen India-France relations.
After France, PM Modi will travel to the US where he will meet US President Donald Trump. “Looking forward to meeting Trump in Washington DC. I remember working closely with President Trump during his first term. I am sure that our discussions will be based on the discussions we had during that tenure. “This visit will further strengthen India-US relations,” he said.

This will be the eighth meeting between Modi and Trump.
