Elections are to be held in the country’s largest municipal corporation BMC. The election methods have not been announced yet and the political temperature of Maharashtra is already heated due to a leader of the MVA constituent party. Actually, Uddhav Sena leader Sanjay Raut has given a big statement. According to media reports, he said on Saturday that “his party will fight the upcoming BMC elections alone (Uddhav Sena BMC elections 2025).” During this, he clearly said that “opposition alliance India and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.” Meanwhile, the interesting thing is that now this statement of Sanjay Raut is being discussed a lot in the political corridors.

Sanjay Raut said that “In the alliance, workers of different parties do not get opportunities and this hinders organizational development. We will contest the elections of Mumbai, Thane, Nagpur and other municipal corporations, district councils and panchayats on our own.” He also said that “Uddhav Thackeray has indicated to the party that it should contest the elections alone.” Not only this, Raut targeted Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar and said that “those who do not believe in consensus and agreement have no right to remain in the alliance (Uddhav Sena BMC elections 2025).”

Not everything is spoken in the media in the alliance- Varsha Gaikwad
On the statement given by Sanjay Raut regarding fighting the municipal elections alone (Uddhav Sena BMC elections 2025), Congress leader Varsha Gaikwad said that “Sanjay Raut has a habit of speaking every day. But the final decision will be taken by Uddhav Thackeray. I think every party worker has his own role. I will not give my statement on Sanjay Raut’s statement. We worked honestly for MVA.” Varsha Gaikwad also said that “Not everything is spoken in the media in the alliance. Anyway, Sanjay Raut has a habit of coming and speaking every morning. But the leader of his party is Uddhav Thackeray. Our people also have a role. The final decision will be his. In our party too, Mallikarjun Kharge Sahab and senior Congress leaders will take a decision on these issues. Right now they are busy in Delhi elections.”
