Total 1.35 million dollars received
Talking about the prize money of this World Chess Championship 2024, it is a total of 2.5 million dollars, which is about Rs 20.75 crores in Indian currency. According to FADE, players are given $ 200000 (which is about Rs 1.68 crores) for each win. Apart from this, the remaining prize money is distributed equally among the finalists. Gukesh has won three games, which are Game 3, Game 11 and Game 14. According to this, he will get $ 600,000 (about Rs 5.04 crores). At the same time, Liren won Games 1 and 2, which gave him $ 400,000 (about Rs 3.36 crores The remaining $1.5 million will be divided equally between Gukesh and Ding.
