During his three-day visit, PM Modi addressed the Summit of the Future at the United Nations in New York and participated in the Quad Leaders’ Summit. He also held important bilateral meetings with the leaders of Ukraine, Kuwait, Nepal, and Palestine. PM Modi also held bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden before the Quad summit. The two leaders discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Describing Modi’s visit as successful, Foreign Secretary Vikram Mistry said the discussions at the UN ranged from global challenges of conflicts, energy, health, and climate to global governance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi informed the world about India’s digital infrastructure and human welfare schemes. He also addressed the ‘Summit of the Future’ at the United Nations General Assembly. “The success of humanity lies in the collective strength of all of us, not in any battlefield,” Modi said in the backdrop of the ongoing conflicts across the world, including the Ukraine war and the Israel-Hamas war. Bilateral meeting with President Zelensky
Prime Minister Modi also held a bilateral meeting with President Zelensky of Ukraine. During the talks, Ukrainian President Zelensky appreciated the peace efforts being made by India. During the meeting, PM Modi briefed the Ukrainian President on India’s peace efforts to prevent war.
