Politics has started on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement about three children. In fact, on Sunday (1 December) in Nagpur, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat expressed concern over the declining population of Hindus and said that now Hindus should have at least three children. Citing the population policy decided in 1998 and 2002, he further said that “The population of any community in the country should not go below 2.1. The population policy of our country was decided in 1998 or 2002. The population of any society should not be less than 2.1. We need a birth rate of more than two or three children, this is what population science says. Modern population science says that when the population (fertility rate) of a society goes below 2.1, that society disappears from the earth. That society gets destroyed even when there is no crisis. In this way many languages and societies have been destroyed.“
When are you people getting married – Asaduddin Owaisi
After this statement of the Sangh chief, the political temperature has risen. Taking a jibe at Bhagwat’s statement, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, “First you people tell me Mohan Bhagwat sahab, when are you getting married? First tell me that. What has happened that Mohan Bhagwat has to say that you should have more children now?” Owaisi further said, “Mohan Bhagwat said that you should have at least three children. Mohan Bhagwat sahab, first tell me when are you getting married. Modi ji had said that your mangalsutra will be snatched and given to those women who have more children. He was pointing towards Muslim women. Now Mohan Bhagwat has to say that you should have more children.
What will he give to those who have more children – Asaduddin Owaisi
Owaisi said, “I want to ask Mohan Bhagwat what will he give to those who have more children? Will he give Rs 1500 in the bank accounts of those who have more children? Will he bring any scheme for this? When Mohan Bhagwat is trying to make someone close to him the CM, he should come up with a plan for it.”

This is an attempt to scare Hindus from Muslims – Maulana Sajid Rashidi
Not just Owaisi, Maulana Sajid Rashidi got angry at Mohan Bhagwat’s statement and said, “How much more will you increase the population of the country beyond 80%? India’s population has become more than that of China. You are issuing an order of three children. Don’t scare Hindus from Muslims. Leave it to every person’s discretion whether he gives birth to three children or two. He gives birth to one or none. It is his wish. Who are you to give instructions whether there should be three or four or how many? This is an attempt to scare Hindus from Muslims.
