Encounter in Jammu and Kashmir: 3 terrorists shot to death and 2 jawans lost their lives

Jammu and Kashmir

There is nothing new when we hear a terrorist incident taking place in Jammu and Kashmir. This goes way back to the partition of India and Pakistan. The hatred that Pakistan had for the Jammu and Kashmir topic gave birth to cruel-minded destroyers who we call terrorists. So many encounters have witnessed the deaths of terrorists, soldiers, and also a few innocent citizens. In the ongoing encounter in the Chak Tapper area of Baramulla, 3 terrorists have been shot to death so far, and also 2 jawans have lost their lives, whereas 2 of them have been injured in Kishtwar since yesterday. The operation has been carried out by Jammu and Kashmir police and security forces. Also, more terrorists are suspected to be hiding in the area.

Search Operation by the security forces

According to the Kashmir Police, the security forces are conducting search operations in the Chak Tapper Area of Baramulla district. This encounter had stopped for the night but resumed this morning, and the terrorists who have been shot to death are yet to be identified.

The security forces launched a search operation also in Nadagam village of Kishtwar as they got to know of three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists hiding in the area. While the search operation was taking place, a clash was seen between the workers and security forces. So far, 2 Indian army soldiers, Naib Subedar Vipan Kumar and Sepoy Arvind Singh, lost their lives in the encounter. Still, the operation is continuing in the area.

It’s rare to see ceasefire violations between India and Pakistan ever since the renewal of the ceasefire agreement on February 25, 2021. Last year only one BSF Jawan was killed by Pakistani rangers in the Ramgarh sector, which turned out to be the first loss of life over the last 3 years. This ceasefire must have ignited due to the assembly elections in the corner. But having said this, we must all salute our armed forces and all security personnel on the field to protect the nation and its people 24/7.
