New Delhi, October 7, 2026: The Supreme Court of India has opened the online application process for 250 Junior Court Assistant (JCA) posts from today. Eligible candidates can apply through the official Supreme Court recruitment portal until October 28, 2026, at 11:55 PM.
250 Junior Court Assistant Vacancies
The recruitment drive is being conducted for 250 tentative vacancies of Junior Court Assistant.
The post falls under Group B, Non-Gazetted category and carries Level 6 of the Pay Matrix, with an initial basic salary of ₹35,400 plus applicable allowances.
Applications Begin Today
Online registration begins on October 7, 2026.
Candidates must complete and submit their applications by October 28, 2026, 11:55 PM. The Supreme Court’s official recruitment page now lists the application link for JCA 2026.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
Applicants are also required to have knowledge of computer operations and an English typing speed of at least 35 words per minute on a computer.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will include multiple stages.
Candidates will have to clear an objective-type written examination, followed by a typing test, descriptive examination and interview.
Objective Test Expected in November
The objective examination is tentatively scheduled for November 20, 2026.
Candidates have been advised to regularly check the Supreme Court’s official recruitment portal for updates regarding admit cards, exam centres and other instructions.

The detailed recruitment advertisement was issued by the Supreme Court on September 30, 2026, under advertisement number F.6/2026-SC (RC).
