New Update On Quick Share App: What Are The Key Features?

Google has launched the updated version of the Quick Share app which was initially causing connectivity problems among the users. Google has finalised the update and launched the updated version 1.0.2002.2 of Quick Share. 

Users can update the app following the earlier version from the Google Play Store. The updated version of the Quick Share application does not have any new features in addition. The updated version of the application is a fixed version which is a bug-free, uncrashable version of the app. In the earlier version users were facing issues like crashing the app while connecting it to their Android and PC. There were some issues regarding Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.

What Are Bugs Fixed In Quick Share?

According to the reports, 12 unknown bugs have been fixed in the Quick Share. The bug caused connectivity problems while sharing and transporting files with non-ASCII characters. The files generally including non-ASCII characters crashed while sharing or transporting from Android to PC or vice versa. The update has also been directed to issues like WiFi advertising hotspot failures and other certain configurations. 

Other Key configurations include deleting the files received from an unknown sender, and better and smoother system connection and functionality. Now the shortcut menu of Quick Share will not appear on the start menu. The app will not crash during file transfer or Bluetooth connectivity. 

What Is Quick Share

The Quick Share App was launched in February 2020, it was first accessible in Samsung Galaxy and ONE UI 2.1. Quick Share app enables the user to connect with nearby devices to transfer files and documents. The application enables one to share files with multiple devices at a time. Users can share files without WiFi connectivity. Quick Share is compatible with Windows 10 and Android devices. Nearby is a similar app to the Quick Share App. Google powers both. Google has been replacing both apps in the newest versions of Android devices as per the system compatibility. Quick Share is more popular than Nearby as it is simultaneously usable on Windows 10 and Android phones.
