By earning bronze medals in the 10-meter air pistol and the 10-meter mixed pistol, Manu has demonstrated her outstanding talent and dedication. She is now honoured carrying the Indian Olympic banner.
Legendary Goalkeeper PR Sreejesh to Represent India
Renowned hockey player PR Sreejesh from India will also fly the Olympic banner. For almost twenty years, Indian hockey has had the good fortune to include Sreejesh as a goalkeeper. He has guided the club to several game victories, including major triumphs over strong opponents Australia.
PT Usha Confirms Sreejesh’s Flag-Bearing Role
According to PT Usha of the Indian Olympic Association, Sreejesh will carry the Olympic flag. When Sreejesh learned he would be carrying the Olympic flag, he first seemed agitated. Sreejesh gets the credit for what he did even if Neeraj Chopra wrongly proposed his name as he made significant contributions to Indian hockey and enabled India to capture five medals at the Paris Olympics.
