Highlights from Randhir Jaiswal speech
MEA Spokeperson Randhir Jaiswal spoke about terrorism coming from across the border in Pakistan. Terrorists have hurt a lot of innocent people, and Mr. Jaiswal added in his speech that India had to take action to stop Terrorism. He explained that the Indian army only targeted terrorist places in Pakistan, and did not harm common people. This showed them that they were just focusing on terrorists and trying to protect Indian inocent people and stop more harm from happening. He made it very clear that India does not want to fight for no reason, but it also won’t sit back and do nothing if innocent people are being hurt.
Pakistan could get into a nuclear fight
There were also some talks in other countries that maybe India and Pakistan could get into a nuclear fight. But Mr. Jaiswal said that’s not true. He said India is very careful and always uses its army in the normal way, not in a dangerous or wild way. He wanted people to understand that India is responsible and won’t let things get out of control. That was good to hear because peace is always better than war.
MEA official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, has previously said that India strongly rejects the allegation made by Pakistan. The whole world should know that the epicentre of terrorism lies repeatedly. He also mentioned that Pakistan should look into and solve its internal issues instead of blaming others.
He also talked about something called the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. That’s a big road and project that China and Pakistan are building together. But it goes through land that India says belongs to it. So Mr. Jaiswal said that India does not agree with it and thinks it’s unfair. He said no one should build anything on India’s land without asking.

He didn’t just talk about borders and armies, though. He also talked about people. He said that in Bangladesh, some minority communities are not being treated fairly. He asked the Bangladesh government to protect those people and make sure they are safe. That shows that India cares about people in other countries too, not just itself.
He also ensured the students coming from other countries that India is a safe country and that they can continue to study. He said that India wants peace but won’t let anyone hurt it. He also showed that India wants to help others and be a good neighbor. Even though the topics were serious, the message was simple: stand strong, speak the truth, and always try to do the right thing.
