Now this bill will be sent to the House of Lords i.e. the upper house of Parliament for amendment and consideration. Forcefully pressurizing someone to commit suicide can be sentenced to 14 years
The big thing in this bill is that a person suffering from a serious illness will need the approval of two doctors to decide to end his life. Not only this, permission will also be required from the judges of the High Court. Apart from this, it will also be confirmed by two doctors whether the person is in a condition to commit euthanasia or not. After this, the court will take the final decision about it. Let us tell you that this whole process can take one to two weeks. If someone’s death is near or that person is in a lot of pain, then a decision can be taken within 48 hours. Apart from this, if someone has forced someone to commit suicide, then he can be sentenced to 14 years.
