The population of Bangladeshi Muslims is increasing in Mumbai
The TISS report even estimates that by the year 2051, the Hindu population in Mumbai will decrease by 54%. According to the report, the Hindu population was 88% from 1961 till now which shrunk to 66% in 2011. Whereas the Muslim population has increased from 8% in 1961 to 21% in 2011. On one hand, while the Muslim population is increasing in Mumbai, the Hindu population is witnessing a continuous decline. According to the report, by the year 2051, the Hindu population will be less than 54% and the Muslim population will increase by about 30%. Let us tell you that Tata Institute of Social Sciences, a leading social science institute of India and funded under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India, has made many shocking revelations in this interim study report.

Mumbai’s slums are increasing due to illegal immigrants
