Tirupati effect: Prasad banned in these big temples of UP, including Ayodhya and Mathura

Tirupati Laddu Bnanned

All the temples of Uttar Pradesh are on alert after the alleged adulteration of fat in the Laddu Prasadam of the world-famous Tirupati temple. All the ancient and famous temples of Ayodhya, Mathura, and Prayagraj have made a big change in their Prasad system. In these temples, devotees will no longer be able to offer external Prasad-like sweets to their deity. While the chief priest of the Ayodhya temple has talked about banning external Prasad, the temple of Mathura has also decided to adopt only fruits and flowers instead of sweets in the Prasad. Similarly, three big temples of Prayagraj have also made the rules for taking Prasad strict.

An international conspiracy is being hatched to desecrate temples

The chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Satyendra Das, while talking to the media, said that there should be a complete ban on external Prasad and expressed concern over the purity of ghee used in the Prasad. Also appealed to Prasad that all the Prasad offered to God should be prepared under the supervision of the priests of the temple. Satyendra Das said that an international conspiracy is being hatched to desecrate temples by adding inappropriate substances to the prasad. Therefore, there should be a thorough investigation of the quality of ghee and oil sold across the country.

Only fruits and flowers instead of sweets in Mathura

Meanwhile, Mathura’s Dharma Raksha Sangh has decided to return to the ancient style of ‘Prasadam’. Under this, devotees coming to the temple for darshan will now be able to offer only natural ingredients along with fruits and flowers to Radha-Krishna in Prasad. Offering sweets in Prasad will now be completely prohibited. Giving information about the new arrangement of Prasadam, National President of Dharma Raksha Sangh Saurabh Gaur said that various religious gurus and organisations have decided to return to the ancient style to maintain the purity of the temple.

This change happened in the temples of Prayagraj

Similarly, many temples, including Alop Shankari Devi, Ancient Bade Hanuman, and Mankameshwar of Prayagraj, have banned the acceptance of all items prepared from outside, including sweets, as Prasad. In these temples, devotees will now be able to offer only coconut, fruits, flowers, and dry fruits to God.
