The accused, who was making death threats to Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan and Salman Khan, is now arrested in Noida

Bollywood actor Salman Khan and NCP leader Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddique have been arrested in Mumbai. The Mumbai Police, with the help of Noida Police, arrested the 20-year-old accused from Sector-39 in Noida. The accused has been identified as Mohammad Tayyab. He is originally from Bareilly in UP and used to live and work with friends in Delhi. The Mumbai Police will now produce him before the court and seek transit remand.

Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office had filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police after the threat

Let us tell you that Zeeshan Siddiqui’s public relations office received a threat call on Monday. From this phone number, Salman Khan was also threatened and demanded money. After receiving the threat, Zeeshan Siddiqui’s office filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police. After this, a police team reached Delhi and started searching for the accused. According to the police, the accused had switched off his mobile phone after receiving the threat. He was trying to flee to his home in Bareilly via Noida but was caught by the police before he could do so.

The attackers wanted to kill Zeeshan along with Baba Siddique

Baba Siddique was shot dead by three assailants outside his office on October 12. The police investigation revealed that the attackers also wanted to kill Zeeshan, but Zeeshan was inside the office at the time so they escaped. He has been under police protection since the incident. This time, he is contesting on an NCP ticket. The Mumbai Police has so far arrested 15 people in connection with the murder of Baba Siddique. The Bishnoi gang had claimed responsibility for the murder, saying, “Baba Siddique had close links with Salman Khan and was protecting Salwan Khan. That’s why they were targeted.”
