On the occasion of Christmas, children are often asked to come dressed as Santa Claus in schools. There are many parents and children who happily follow this order of the school. But there are some parents who avoid it. They do not want to make their children Santa Claus. Many Hindu organizations have also been opposing this. Keeping all this in mind, a decree has been issued by the Madhya Pradesh government. According to the decree, the school administration will have to take permission from the parents of the children to make them wear Santa Claus costumes.
Many Hindu organizations were demanding this for a long time
The Madhya Pradesh Child Rights Protection Commission has issued a directive to the collectors of all the districts including the School Education Department just before Christmas. In this directive, it is written that “It is necessary to take written permission from the parents of the students participating in the programs organized in schools on the occasion of various events. If students are asked to wear any special costume without the permission of the parents, then action will be taken against the school and the institution.” Let us tell you that for a long time, many Hindu organizations have been demanding that “On the occasion of Christmas, many schools including missionary schools make their children Santa Claus without their permission.” In such a situation, now Anurag Pandey, a member of the Child Rights Protection Commission, has issued a directive and written that “For making the selected boys and girls participating in the programs organized in schools on the occasion of various events, special costumes and any other characters should be made by the school institution only after obtaining written permission from the parents of the boys and girls.”
