People are surprised to find a temple in a riot-hit area. Let us tell you that 46 years ago this temple was closed after being illegally occupied. When the administration opened this temple, it was full of dirt. Statues of Shivling, Nandi, Hanuman, and Kartikeya have also been found in this temple. The police cleaned the temple with their own hands. In this case, the police said that “the temple was closed illegally.” Now the police administration has taken action on this and bulldozers have been used here.

The Sambhal administration has reopened the Lord Shiva temple which was closed for about 46 years in Mohalla Khaggu Sarai of Nakhasa police station area in Sambhal. Let us tell you that this temple has been revealed in a joint raid by the DM and SP against illegal encroachment and electricity theft. Let us tell you that it was closed and occupied since 1978. There was a well and a peepal tree near the temple.

On this entire matter, Sambhal SDM Vandana Singh said that “This morning when a campaign was being run against electricity theft, the team reached this place. This temple was seen here. After this, the District Magistrate was informed about this. After reaching here, the locks were opened. The idols inside the temple were locked. Local people said that this temple had been under occupation since 1978. It has been found that there was a well here too, which has been filled up. The encroachment is being removed from it. There was also a Peepal tree, which was cut down. We will also take action against encroachment.”
