Islamic country path

Cases of atrocities on minority Hindus are increasing in Bangladesh. Hindus are being targeted and beaten up every day. Sometimes Hindu temples are attacked and sometimes they are stopped from celebrating Durga Puja. Apart from this, the Yunus government of Bangladesh is continuously doing anti-Hindu work. In this connection, the government there has now set out to change the constitution in the name of Muslims. The Bangladeshi government has given this argument in the court at a time when violence against Hindus is at its peak.

The Attorney General of Bangladesh demanded major changes in the constitution

Actually, according to media reports, the Attorney General of Bangladesh has demanded major changes in the constitution. He said that “90% of the country’s population is Muslim, so the word secular should be removed from the constitution.” In fact, Attorney General Mohammad Asaduzzaman presented these arguments during the hearing on the validity of the 15th Amendment before a bench of Justice Farah Mahbub and Debashish Roy Chowdhury.

Constitutional amendments reflect democracy

According to the news, Bangladesh Attorney General Mohammad Asaduzzaman said that “Earlier there was unwavering faith and belief in Allah. I want it to be the same as before. Article 2A states that the country will ensure equal rights and equality in the practice of all religions. Article 9 talks about ‘Bangla nationalism’. This is contradictory.” The Attorney General argued that “constitutional amendments reflect democracy and should not promote dictatorship. He also objected to sections 7A and 7B.”

Opposed several amendments including declaring Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as ‘Father of Nation’

Not only this, Attorney General Mohammad Asaduzzaman also opposed several amendments including declaring Sheikh Hasina’s father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as ‘Father of Nation’. He said that “all these divide the country and stifle freedom of expression.” He said that “It is important to respect the contribution of Sheikh Mujibur, but implementing it through law creates division.” The Attorney General urged the Bangladesh court to declare the 15th amendment unconstitutional. In such a situation, it can be said that with the departure of Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh has now become anti-India and anti-Hindu. Hindus are not safe in the government of Mohammad Yunus.
