Big revelation on Sambhal violence: More than 40 anonymous letters received by police

The role of outsiders in the violence has been exposed. The police have received more than 40 anonymous letters informing about the involvement of people from different areas in the violence. The letters mention outsiders coming to Sambhal from Hapur, Bulandshahr, Rampur, Amroha and Moradabad. 

According to the letters, which arrived from Hapur at 3 pm, people from Hapur had left for Sambhal at 3 pm to join the violence. In these letters, the role of people coming from outside has been mentioned in detail. 

Police initiated action on the basis of these letters after verifying 200 call details. 5 teams are collecting evidence from these areas and questioning 15 suspects. So far, call details of 200 people have been extracted and their movement is being checked.

The violence broke out last month during a dispute over the 16th century Shahi Jama Masjid in Sambhal. As a result of this accident, 4 people were injured. Clashes had broken out between protesters and police during the court-monitored survey of the mosque. 

Internet services were suspended in Sambhal and schools were also closed after the violence. Videos that went viral on social media showed slippers, bricks and stones strewn around the mosque. The police have registered cases in connection with the violence.
