In Sambhal district, a violent incident took place during the survey at Jama Masjid on Sunday, after which the police administration has become fully alert. Tight security arrangements have been made for the Friday prayers and heavy deployment of police force has been made in the city. On Thursday, the police had conducted a flag march in the areas around the mosque. According to media reports, the situation in the city is returning to normal and the police, led by Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shrish Chandra, conducted flag marches in major markets to create a sense of security among the people.
According to media reports, the situation is completely peaceful and adequate police force has been deployed for the Jumma prayers. According to media reports police teams are fully prepared to deal with any unforeseen situation. Apart from this, the local police and district administration have also held a meeting with Muslim clerics in this regard so that everyone can be informed about the security measures. A high alert has been sounded in Sambhal to avoid any untoward incident.
The report will be submitted to the court
Along with this, the report of the survey of Jama Masjid during the Juma prayers will also be presented in the court. The lawyers of the Muslim and Hindu sides have completed their preparations in this case.
Security on high alert in 5 districts
According to media reports, police have been deployed in all sensitive places of Sambhal and vigilance has been increased in five districts of Moradabad division. Sambhal town Qazi Mohammad Alauddin Ajmali also appealed to the residents of the town to offer Friday prayers at mosques in their locality and people coming from outlying areas should also offer prayers at their local mosques.

Today’s hearing in the Supreme Court
In this case, the concerned mosque committee has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, challenging the order of the lower court to conduct a survey. The petition has sought immediate quashing of the decision. The Supreme Court will hear the matter on Friday, in which the management of Shahi Jama Masjid is one of the parties, while Hari Shankar Jain is the other party. The Muslim side has demanded an early hearing from the court and said that this case is extraordinary, so the court should take quick steps.
