After the crushing defeat in the Maharashtra elections, the opposition alliance Mahavikas Aghadi seems to be in trouble. Samajwadi Party leader Maharashtra SP chief Abu Azmi is so angry with the attitude of Shiv Sena that he has decided to leave MVA. This move of SP has come in response to the post of Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC Milind Narvekar on the demolition of Babri Masjid. “Actually, Narvekar had posted a picture of the Babri demolition and also wrote the statement of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray that “I am proud of those who did this.” Not only this, the Shiv Sena secretary also posted pictures of Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and himself in the post. Angry with this attitude of Uddhav, Abu Azmi said that “We are leaving MVA. I am talking to Akhilesh Yadav. It is worth noting that this decision of the Samajwadi Party came when yesterday i.e. on 6 December 1992, the 32nd anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition was celebrated in Ayodhya.
If someone speaks such a language in the MVA, then what is the difference between them and the BJP?
Let us tell you that the Samajwadi Party has two MLAs in Maharashtra. Abu Azmi, the biggest leader of the Maharashtra SP unit, said that “An advertisement was given by Shiv Sena (UBT) in a newspaper to congratulate those who demolished the Babri Masjid. His colleague has also posted on X praising the demolition of the mosque.” According to the news, the Samajwadi Party has decided to separate from the alliance. Maharashtra SP chief Abu Azmi said that the Samajwadi Party will leave the opposition MVA over the Shiv Sena (UBT)’s stand on the Babri structure demolition. Angered by Narvekar’s post, Azmi asked that “If someone speaks such a language in the MVA, then what is the difference between them and the BJP? Why should we stay with them?”

Shiv Sena (UBT)’s stand on Babri structure demolition is same as before
In such a situation, the biggest question is whether Samajwadi Party’s leaving MVA will have any effect on the alliance? So the answer will be, no. SP’s leaving MVA will not make any special difference. Even though SP’s decision will not cause any major setback to the MVA alliance, the time at which it is happening and the reason for it is important. After joining MVA, Uddhav’s tone on Hindutva has softened. He is moving ahead on the path of Congress, but his stand on Babri structure demolition is the same as before. Let us tell you that in the recently held Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance won a decisive victory over the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Mahayuti won 230 out of 288 seats, while MVA could win only 46 seats.
