From January 1, 2025, farmers will get loan without guarantee
RBI has increased the limit of loan without guarantee for farmers from January 1, 2025. After this, farmers will now be able to take loans up to two lakh rupees. Earlier the limit of this loan was only Rs 1.6 lakh. RBI has taken this step with the aim of helping marginal farmers and increasing cost of farming. Let us tell you that RBI has increased the loan limit of Rs 40 thousand.
More than 86 percent of farmers will benefit from this scheme
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the government has taken this decision to improve the rising cost and loan access for farmers. The statement said that more than 86 percent of the total farmers will benefit from this step of the RBI. According to the information, the new directive has asked banks across the country to waive the collateral and margin requirements for agricultural and related loans up to Rs 2 lakh for each borrower. With this step, farmers will easily get Kisan Credit Card loans.

About nine and a half crore farmers are given financial help of Rs 6000 annually
Let us tell you that more than 12 crore farmers of the country will benefit from the rule being implemented by RBI. However, under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Central Government, about nine and a half crore farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6000 annually. This money is given to the farmers in three installments of Rs 2000 each. This money is transferred by the government to the accounts of eligible farmers through DBT.
