In Maharashtra assembly elections, Mahayuti storm swept through such a storm that all the parties were blown to pieces. The opposition alliance MVA was reduced to less than 50 seats. It is still not able to believe such a crushing defeat. No party had even imagined such results. BJP itself is surprised by these results. After getting more seats than expected, there is a ruckus in Maharashtra about the post of Chief Minister. On one hand, Eknath Shinde has staked claim to the Chief Minister’s chair, while on the other hand Ajit Pawar has agreed to Devendra Fadnavis becoming the Chief Minister.
MNS did not get a single seat in Maharashtra assembly elections
Well, this was about Mahayuti. But the thing to note is that in this election, Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), a big face of Maharashtra politics, performed the worst ever. In this election, all its MLAs were defeated. It did not get a single seat. Now the situation is such that even his party is about to be cancelled. Meanwhile, even though Raj Thackeray’s party’s existence is in danger, Raj knowingly or unknowingly helped Uddhav Thackeray in winning seats. It is not us but the figures themselves are saying this. Here we will see how Raj’s party MNS benefited Uddhav’s Shiv Sena.
Uddhav Sena won in a close contest on 8 seats of Mumbai
It cannot be denied at all that despite a disappointing performance in the Maharashtra assembly elections, Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena influenced the election results. It is because of MNS that Uddhav Sena’s performance in Mumbai was decent. Let us tell you that out of the 20 seats won by Uddhav Sena, 8 seats were decided by a margin less than the votes received by MNS candidates. That is, in a way, Raj’s party MNS played an important role in Uddhav’s Shiv Sena’s victory in 8 seats of Mumbai. Uddhav Sena won in a close contest on 8 seats in Mumbai. It is worth noting that on 8 seats, MNS candidates took away votes from Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena, which helped Uddhav Sena to retain its stronghold in Mumbai.
