Will Raj Thackeray join the Mahayuti, can things get worse because of this leader of Modi?

RajThackeray

Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena could not even open its account in the Maharashtra assembly elections. Even Raj Thackeray’s son Amit Thackeray himself lost the election from Mahim seat. Meanwhile, after the defeat of MNS, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis indicated that MNS can be included in the ruling Mahayuti. However, in the political corridors of the state, there are speculations that MNS can also get representation in the Fadnavis cabinet. But this has not gone down well with Union Minister Ramdas Athawale.

Athawale is not in the mood to include Raj Thackeray in the Mahayuti

In fact, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale said in Nashik that “MNS chief Raj Thackeray has lost relevance and the ruling Mahayuti does not need him.” No, meanwhile Athawale also said that “Raj Thackeray felt that he could not get power without him. His dreams have been shattered. With me in the alliance, there is no place for Raj Thackeray. He keeps changing his strategy and the colour of the party’s flag. This shows his decreasing relevance.” Overall, Athawale’s statement seems to indicate that he is in no mood to include Raj Thackeray in the Mahayuti.”

Raj Thackeray will take the final decision on the alliance

It cannot be denied that the BJP benefited from the unconditional support of MNS in the Lok Sabha elections. Now the same equation can be repeated in the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation). This is because Devendra Fadnavis had recently indicated that the BJP is ready to include MNS in the government and bring it together in the BMC elections. Fadnavis said that “Raj Thackeray’s candidates may not have won in the assembly elections, but they got good votes. Our and his ideas match.” On this proposal of BJP, MNS leaders said that “the party’s stance has always been to go alone, but the final decision on the alliance will be taken by Raj Thackeray.”

BMC elections are to be held after two months

Even though Uddhav has suffered a crushing defeat in the Maharashtra assembly elections, out of his 20 MLAs who won, 10 have won from Mumbai seats only. That means even today Uddhav’s Shiv Sena’s dominance in Mumbai remains intact. BJP is considering Raj Thackeray as its counter. Of course, CM Devendra Fadnavis has very good relations with Raj Thackeray. This is the reason why he wants to take advantage of this in the BMC elections. Anyway, without MNS coming together, the fort of BMC cannot be won. Devendra understands this very well. Its elections are to be held after two months. And to defeat Uddhav, BJP needs Raj Thackeray.
