Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has announced his new journey. He has named his journey ‘Bharat Dojo Nyay Yatra’. Actually, the word dojo is used for a training room or school for martial arts. While sharing information on the social media platform X, he has shared a post related to this journey. In the shared post, he also shared a video, in which he is seen doing martial arts with some people.
Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra
In the shared post, Rahul Gandhi said that “This video is from the time of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ taken out earlier this year.” In the said video, he is seen sharing the performing the martial arts with many children. He said that during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, when we traveled thousands of kilometers, it was our daily routine to practice Jiu-Jitsu every evening at our camp site. What began as a simple fitness routine has evolved into a community activity. He further said that fellow travelers and young martial arts students from the respective cities were brought together where they were staying.
Rahul Gandhi’s Aim
In his post, Rahul Gandhi mentioned, “We aimed to show these young people the elegance of ‘gentle art,’ which combines meditation, jiu-jitsu, aikido, and other techniques of non-violent struggle.” Well, Rahul Gandhi said that “he wants to share his experience with the people on the occasion of National Sports Day. He said he hopes that some of them will be inspired to practice this gentle art. He further wrote that “Bharat Dojo Yatra is coming soon.” It is worth noting that earlier Rahul Gandhi had taken out Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir and Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Manipur to Mumbai.
