The Constitution is the soul of the country. The PM says that Rahul Gandhi is roaming around with a red coloured Constitution. Look, the colour does not matter, what matters is what is written in it.” Actually, BJP had accused Rahul Gandhi of showing a copy of the Constitution with blank pages during the election campaign in Maharashtra. In response to this, Rahul Gandhi accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of trying to destroy the Constitution.

Rahul Gandhi and SP chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had accused the BJP of ending reservation and changing the constitution during the Lok Sabha elections. The BJP had to suffer losses in UP on these issues.

BJP reduces reservation for backward classes

According to media reports, while addressing election rallies in Jharkhand, Rahul alleged that “BJP works for some industrialists and the steel plant of the state can also be handed over to them.” Attacking the BJP, Rahul Gandhi further said that “BJP had reduced reservation for backward classes in Jharkhand. On one hand, Narendra Modi gives speeches saying that I am from backward class, while on the other hand he reduces reservation for backward classes. He snatches your land and makes you unemployed through demonetization.”

BJP is not keen to waive farmers’ loans

In his speech, Rahul Gandhi further said that “There is an ideological battle between India Block and BJP-RSS.” Gandhi said that “this is an ideological battle, on one side there is Congress and India Block and on the other side there is BJP and RSS. We say that the country should run according to the Constitution, we say that the Constitution should be strengthened. They want to abolish the Constitution, want to tear it.” Not only this, during this time he also claimed that the MVA government in Maharashtra was “toppled to grab land. Rahul alleged that “Modi government waived off Rs 16 lakh crore of rich businessmen, but is not keen to waive the loans of farmers. In his allegations, Rahul further said that “BJP has reduced reservation, while his party is committed to increasing it.”
