In a press conference held in Mumbai’s BKC, Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of Dharavi’s redevelopment and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that “Adani has been given big projects because of the PM.” Not only this, during this time he also launched a sharp attack on PM Modi’s ‘Ek Hain To Safe Hain’. Meanwhile, showing the poster of ‘Ek Hain To Safe Hain’, he said that “The question is who is safe? Dharavi’s future is not safe. Dharavi is being destroyed for one person.” In the press conference, while he attacked PM Modi’s slogan ‘Ek Hain To Safe Hain‘, on the other hand, he said that BJP is expert in diverting attention.

Rahul Gandhi said that Narendra Modi’s slogan is, ‘If there is one, then we are safe.’ Now the question is who is one and who is safe and moreover who is safe? Redevelopment of Dharavi is being done to benefit only one person
Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi also targeted the BJP fiercely for five lakh youth not getting employment due to eight big industries moving from Maharashtra to other states. During this, when Rahul Gandhi was asked that Uddhav Thackeray has talked about cancelling Adani’s tender if the MVA government comes, then Rahul Gandhi said that “he is completely with Uddhav Thackeray on this issue.” He further said that “What is happening in Dharavi right now Redevelopment is happening. It is happening only to benefit one person. We will not let this happen under any circumstances.”
Caste census will be done after MVA government is formed
During the press conference, he reiterated the promises of Congress and Mahayuti. He said that after the formation of MVA government, caste census will be done in Maharashtra. Women will be given Rs 3000 every month. Women will get free bus facility. Farmers’ loan up to Rs 3 lakh will be waived. Soybean will be purchased at Rs 7,000 per quintal. There will be a fair MSP for cotton and a fair price committee will be formed for onion farmers. Along with health insurance of up to Rs 25 lakh, unemployed will get help of Rs 4000 every month. After the formation of the MVA government, 2.5 lakh government jobs will be given.
