Prashant Kishor Arrested: Prashant Kishor, who was on a hunger strike, was arrested by the police

The police took into custody Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj Party, who was on a hunger strike at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, demanding the cancellation of the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination (Prashant Kishor Arrested) in the early hours. In fact, he was on a hunger strike since Thursday demanding the cancellation of the Integrated 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination held on December 13. Prashant was not ready to end his hunger strike. The police forcibly picked him up. After arresting him, the police took him to Patna AIIMS for medical checkup. During this, Jan Suraj Party workers clashed with the police. On this whole matter, the District Magistrate of Patna said that “Prashant Kishor will be produced in court today.” His workers, angry at Prashant being picked up from Gandhi Maidan, also clashed with the police.

According to media reports, Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh said that “Prashant Kishor and his supporters sitting on a hunger strike at Gandhi Maidan were arrested by the police on Monday morning (Prashant Kishor Arrested). They will now be presented in court.” The DM said that “This protest was illegal. He was protesting at a prohibited place.” Meanwhile, a worker of Jan Suraj Party said that “Prashant Kishor is fighting his battle for the people and students of Bihar. The government is scared of this hunger strike. We condemn the physical violence against PK. We do not know where the police have taken him. We are asking where PK is, but no one is telling anything.”

demanding the cancellation of the Integrated 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination held on December 13. Well, the BPSC had ordered a re-examination for a select group of candidates who appeared in the December 13 examination. The re-examination was conducted at 22 centers here on Saturday. The re-examination was held at 22 centers in Patna. Out of a total of 12,012 candidates, about 8,111 had downloaded their admit cards. 5,943 students also appeared for the re-examination on Saturday. In a statement issued on Saturday, the BPSC said that “the re-examination was conducted peacefully at all centers and there is no report of any disturbance.”

Being the Leader of Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav should have led the protest in his place

Prashant Kishore said that “It is not a matter of decision for us whether we will continue it or not. We will continue doing what we are doing right now, there will be no change in it. We will file a case. We will file a petition in the High Court on the 7th.” Let us tell you that on Sunday Prashant Kishore sat with the protesting students at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. He had also urged Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav to lead the protest. Meanwhile, reacting to the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar’s comment, PK said that “Being the Leader of Opposition, Yadav should have led the protest in his place.”
