Patna DM’s slapping incident may prove costly? Complaint lodged in NHRC

There was a lot of ruckus during the 70th competitive (preliminary) examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). According to the information received, after the examination was over, the students started creating ruckus at Kumhar Ke Bapu Center. This ruckus was going on when on getting the information about the ruckus, District Officer Chandrashekhar Singh reached the spot with Patna SSP to control the situation. Amidst the ruckus of the students, Patna DM lost his temper and slapped a candidate without any hesitation. After slapping, the policemen present there caught that student. Then what happened, the case of slapping the BPSC candidate gained momentum. A complaint has been lodged against Patna DM in the National Human Rights Commission in the case of slapping. Let us tell you that a person named Brajesh Singh, who lives in Bihar, has lodged a complaint in NHRC.

Candidates created a ruckus alleging paper leak

Actually, according to media reports, candidates had reached the exam center of Bapu Dham in Patna to give the BPSC 70th prelims exam. As soon as the exam ended, the candidates started a ruckus alleging that the seal of the paper was already open. Not only this, some started a ruckus alleging that the paper was given half an hour late, while some candidates started creating a ruckus alleging paper leak. After this ruckus, the DM of Patna reached the exam center to handle the situation. According to the information, many candidates allege that they were not given the question paper, while many allege that they got an open question paper. Apart from this, some told that shortly after the examination started at 12 o’clock, the question paper and OMR sheet were also found thrown on the road. The students were enraged by all these irregularities. Amidst this ruckus, the Patna DM suddenly slapped a candidate, some people present there made a video of this incident, which is now becoming very viral on social media. Politics has also started on this slapping incident. 

Tejashwi Yadav took the Bihar government to task

Tejashwi Yadav has directly taken Nitish Kumar to task in this matter. Targeting the Nitish government, he said that “This government is not able to conduct the examination from 10th to BPSC without paper leak. Students are being beaten up by the police for protesting. Students are being slapped hard. Even after such a big incident, Nitish Kumar is silent. There are two deputy CMs in the government, but no one is giving a statement on this. These students will answer this government in the coming time.”

Khan Sir was arrested

Let us tell you that Khan Sir himself reached the protest site in support of the students’ protest regarding normalization in the 70th combined primary examination of Bihar Public Service Commission. BPSC candidates protested outside the BPSC office in Patna. The police also had to resort to lathicharge to control the violent protest and disperse the protesting candidates. Not only this, the police had also taken Khan Sir into custody. However, he was released late at night after the uproar by the students. Meanwhile, on the second day, his health deteriorated and he had to be admitted to the hospital.
