The central government has changed the policy of not failing till class 8th. The Ministry of Education has issued a letter in this regard on Sunday. According to the news, now the students who fail in class 5th and 8th will get a chance to give the exam once again. If they are still unable to pass the exam, then the students will have to study in the same class again. The big thing is that this decision of the Center has been implemented in Haryana as well. According to the information, now regular examinations of class 5th and 8th will be taken in Haryana and the students who fail will not be given admission in the next class. The good thing in this is that the failed students will be re-examined in two months. Only if they pass in this, they will be given admission in the next class. According to the revised rules, if the student does not succeed in the re-examination, then he will have to study in the same class for a year.
Earlier, there was no provision to fail any student till 8th
In the earlier rules, there was no provision to fail any student till 8th. The important thing is that the failed students will not be expelled from the school. They can continue their studies by staying in the same school, but to get promoted to the next class, they will have to score good marks. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Education said that “If the student had a weak result, then he was held in the same class for some time and after taking the exam again, he was sent to the next class. But even for holding, the consent of the student’s parents was necessary. The gazette notification of the new rules has been issued.”
Teachers will assess the performance of the students
The main objective of this process is to provide assistance to the students according to their needs. In this, instead of questions based on rote learning and procedural skills, the overall development and practical knowledge of the students will be tested. The important thing is that it will be ensured that the students are not expelled from the school under any circumstances until they complete their primary education. Of course, this step will be helpful in strengthening the basic understanding and skills of the students. Well, during this time special guidance will be given by the teachers to improve the student. The teachers will not only pay attention to the performance of the student, but will also provide necessary support to their parents. Meanwhile, the teachers will assess the performance of the students. They will give suggestions to overcome their learning deficiency. Not only this, in the meantime the headmaster of the school will make a list of such students and will regularly monitor their improvement. This will make both teachers and students study more seriously. Children will get a deep understanding of difficult subjects. This policy will promote the spirit of competition among children.
