Five or more terrorists are suspected to be involved in the dastardly attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. According to initial investigations by security agencies, these terrorists were trained in Pakistan and included two local terrorists. Security agencies have received a lot of information about the terrorists from the wife of one of the deceased tourists. One of the terrorists has been identified as Adil Thoker alias Adil Guri, a resident of Bijbehara. According to security officials, Kashmiri militant Adil Thoker had crossed over to Pakistan in 2018. There, he joined the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and underwent training in handling weapons. It recently infiltrated into India to carry out the Pahalgam terror attack. Witnesses to the incident were shown photographs of six to seven terrorists to identify them, the officials said. After seeing these pictures, the wife of one of the deceased identified Adil. It is being said that Adil was at the forefront of the terrorists who opened fire on the tourists.
Tourists shot at while standing in line
Investigations by security officials also revealed that the four terrorists first held some tourists, lined them up and then shot them from a close range after asking their names. The terrorists had installed body cams to record their barbaric act. At the same time, one to two terrorists were stationed at a short distance to keep an eye on the security forces and stop them. After the incident, all the terrorists disappeared into the dense jungles of Pir Panjal.

He also announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for those seriously injured and Rs 1 lakh for those with minor injuries. Announcing this, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that the perpetrators of this barbaric act of brutality against innocent civilians will definitely be punished. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that this money from the government cannot compensate for the loss of the victims, but will definitely help a little in moving forward in life.
