The political battle is raging between the Shiv Sena and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Maharashtra. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made the battle even more interesting by fielding Rajya Sabha MP Milind Deora against Uddhav’s son Aaditya Thackeray in Mumbai’s Worli seat. MNS’s Sandeep Deshpande was already challenging Aaditya on this seat. In such a situation, with the arrival of Milind, the seat of Worli seems to be trapped in a triangular fight.
Fielding Milind Deora is being described as Shinde’s masterstroke
Rajya Sabha member and former Congress leader Milind Deora contesting against Uddhav’s son is being described as Shinde’s masterstroke. This assembly election is politically very important for Aaditya Thackeray, as the results of this election will only shape Aaditya’s political future. Therefore, Uddhav Thackeray will also put all his efforts into winning this seat. According to political experts, Shinde’s Shiv Sena wants to restrict Uddhav Thackeray to this seat by challenging him on the Worli seat so that he can give more time to his son to win here and not be able to give credit to other seats.

Milind Deora won his first Lok Sabha election from Mumbai South in 2004. Milind was the youngest MP at that time, but even after this, his close work came from the Gandhi family, and he was made a Union Minister of State. After this, Milind became an MP again in the year 2009, but in the 2014 elections, he lost to Shiv Sena’s Arvind Sawant.
Milind had left Congress and joined the Shiv Sena
The Shiv Sena has won the Mumbai South Lok Sabha seat. Congress Legislature Party leader Balasaheb Thorat tried hard to get this seat for Milind Deora, but Uddhav Thackeray was not ready to leave this seat for the Congress. Later, Milind quit the Congress and joined the Shiv Sena. Shinde sent him to the Rajya Sabha and now gave him a ticket in the assembly elections as well.
