Uddhav Thackeray

The seat-sharing talks between the Congress and the Shiv Sena are entering a crucial phase ahead of the Maharashtra assembly election. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, and Uddhav Thackeray, the head of the Shiv Sena, met. The two parties discussed the seat-sharing deal in Maharashtra during this meeting. Shiv Sena (UBT) reportedly demanded 100 to 110 assembly seats during the meeting.

According to media reports, the seat-sharing deal between the Maha Vikas Aghadi and the Indi Alliance for the upcoming assembly elections has started. People are claiming that completing the seat-sharing work with mutual consent this month will lead to the preparation of the joint manifesto. The Shiv Sena (UBT) has requested 100 to 110 seats from the alliance. Uddhav Thackeray’s party asserts that it is in a powerful position in these seats and can easily secure a victory. Nevertheless, the likelihood of Uddhav Thackeray obtaining a significant number of seats appears to be minimal.

INDI Alliance meeting soon

Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, and NCP chief Sharad Pawar, among others, attended the meeting. According to media reports, in this meeting, Uddhav Thackeray suggested to Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to call a meeting of the Indi Alliance as soon as possible. This will allow for the final decision on seat sharing and the development of the election strategy. Recently, Sharad Pawar met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his residence. The opposition, however, claims unity.

Uddhav-Sanjay Nirupam bow to Congress in greed for power.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam hit out at Uddhav Thackeray over his meeting with Congress leaders. Sanjay stated that Uddhav Thackeray has bowed down in front of the Congress leaders out of greed for power. His visit to Delhi exemplifies his helplessness. Uddhav Thackeray wants to project himself as the chief ministerial candidate, but Sharad Pawar will not support him this time. Therefore, Uddhav is now demanding the inclusion of other smaller parties in the alliance.
