After complaining about the matter to the Yogi government, the officials have become nervous. According to the information received, the complainant DS Maurya has sent a letter to the Minister of State for Social Welfare and alleged that the Chief Minister‘s mass marriage ceremony was organized at Babu Singh Degree College in Sirathu block on 23 November 2024. In the said event, the marriage of 200 couples was solemnized. The grooms of more than two dozen girls did not attend the wedding ceremony. It is alleged that the Assistant Development Officer of the Social Welfare Department got the marriage done on paper by taking Rs 10,000 each from the people.

The beneficiaries will not be given the benefits from the government
The interesting thing is that when the complaint of the said case was made to the Minister of State for Social Welfare Department, there was a stir in the administration. According to the information, DM Madhusudan Hulgi has formed an investigation team in the related case. Meanwhile, the DM said that “Verification takes place after the online process. Only after that the couples are included in the wedding ceremony and the marriage is solemnized. If these allegations are found to be true in the investigation, then such beneficiaries will not be given the benefits provided by the government and action will also be taken against those responsible.”
