If your name is Shiva, it does not mean that you have become God – Shahzad Poonawala
BJP spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala released a video on this incident and said that “Insulting the faith of Hindus is the old identity of the Congress party. Before Lord Shiva, the Congress party used to insult Shri Ram. Congressmen have been constantly questioning the existence of Lord Ram. Today Congress President Kharge has crossed all limits. He has compared himself to Mahadev. This is an insult to Lord Shiva.” Shahzad Poonawala further said that “The Congress President compared himself to Lord Shiva, but can he make such comments or comparisons on any other religion? Just for the sake of vote bank, the level of Congress has fallen so low that they keep trying to hurt Hindu faith.” Poonawala became aggressive on Kharge and said that “Congress President should apologize for this immediately. If the name is Shiva, it does not mean that you have become God. However, no statement has come from the Congress party regarding this statement of Mallikarjun Kharge.
