Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal has now tried to corner Prime Minister Narendra Modi by writing a letter to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief. “I am writing this letter not as a leader but as an ordinary citizen. I am very concerned about the situation in the country today. The direction in which the BJP government at the center is taking our country and the politics of the country is harmful to the entire country.”
“If this continues, the democracy of the country and our country will be finished,” Kejriwal said in his letter. Political parties, elections, and leaders will come and go, but India will always remain a country. It is the responsibility of all of us to ensure that the tricolor of our country always flutters proudly in the sky. In this regard, there are some big questions in the minds of the people, which I am putting before you through this letter.
Kejriwal asks five questions to RSS chief
1. Other political parties and their leaders are being broken; governments are being toppled by threatening ED-CBI across the country. Is it right for democracy to topple governments elected by the people in this way? Is it acceptable for the RSS to gain power by dishonesty?
2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah had called some BJP leaders “corrupt” and inducted them into the party. On June 28, 2023, PM Modi accused a party and its leader of a 70 thousand crore scam from a public platform and a few days later broke that party and formed a government with that leader. There are many such cases when corrupt leaders from other parties were inducted into the BJP. Did the RSS envision such a BJP? Doesn’t it hurt to see all this?
3. The BJP is a party born out of the womb of the RSS. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the RSS to bring the BJP on the right path if it goes astray. Have you ever stopped the BJP and Narendra Modi from doing wrong?
JP Nadda had said at the time of the Lok Sabha elections that the BJP no longer needs the RSS. Has the son now grown so much that he has started showing his eyes to his mother? The country wants to know what happened to your heart with that statement of Nadda.
All of you together made a law that after the age of 75, BJP leaders will retire. Under this law, many leaders like Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Khanduri, Shanta Kumar, and Sumitra Mahajan were retired. Now Amit Shah is saying that this law will not apply to Modi. Do you agree with this? Shouldn’t the law be equal for all?
