A helicopter has fallen during the rescue operation in Kedarnath. It was a private helicopter. Earlier it was used to transport passengers to the Kedarnath temple.

Actual Incident
According to the information received, the tourism officer said that “On Saturday, there was a plan to take the helicopter to Gauchar airstrip for repair, according to which Crystal Aviation’s helicopter was to be taken to Gauchar by hanging it from the Air Force’s MI-17 helicopter at around seven in the morning. This was fine, but after coming a little distance, the MI-17 helicopter started losing its balance due to the weight of the helicopter and the effect of the wind.
Inspection
In such an emergency situation, the helicopter had to be dropped from M I-17 when it reached near Tharu Camp in Kedarnath. Fortunately, there was no passenger or luggage in the helicopter. The good thing is that as soon as the information was received, the rescue team inspected the situation after reaching the spot. Along with this, people have also appealed not to spread any kind of rumor related to anyone being injured in the helicopter crash.
It is worth noting that this year the Char Dham Yatra started with the opening of the doors of Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri temples for pilgrims on 10 May. The doors of Badrinath were opened on 12 May and since then more than 33 lakh pilgrims have visited the temple.
