The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) continue to launch air strikes and ground attacks on Hezbollah. The IDF has so far killed several top commanders, including the leader of Hezbollah. In the past four days, the IDF has claimed that its security forces have destroyed more than 2,000 Hezbollah military positions and killed about 250 Hezbollah fighters. According to the IDF, five Hezbollah battalion commanders, 10 company commanders, and six platoon commanders were among the dead.
The IDF said in a post on social media platform X that its air force was conducting intelligence-based operations in conjunction with the ground offensive. In this air strike, the Hezbollah boys have been forced to retreat.” The IDF posted another post entitled” “Details of the 24-hour operation in southern Lebanon,” “claiming,” “During precise intelligence-based strikes, its troops have found rocket launchers, anti-tank missiles, rockets, and a huge amount of ammunition in a residential house.””” In addition, small arms, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from dozens of houses. Leaving these weapons, the Hezbollah boys ran away.
Hezbollah launches rocket attacks on southern Israel
The Israel Defense Forces reported in another post that the sirens sounded in southern Israel for the first time in about 2 months; Hezbollah had fired some rockets in these areas, which were defused. The development comes days after Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israel. Israel is responding to Hezbollah with air strikes from these areas.
