You must have often heard news of clashes between Chinese and Indian soldiers on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). In the past, the relations between the two countries were very tense. After the Doklam dispute in the year 2020, the Indian forces had increased their vigilance on the border. The tension between the two countries was at its peak. However, now the tension is decreasing. Meanwhile, due to the continuous efforts and pressure of the Indian Army, China finally had to bow down. Not only bowed down but also agreed to India. As a result, the troops were withdrawn from the LAC and the tents of both the countries were also removed.
Military standoff started in eastern Ladakh in May 2020
According to the news, India and China have withdrawn their troops from two places of standoff in eastern Ladakh. Of course, the reason behind this is India’s successful diplomacy. Now that India and China have withdrawn troops from two deadlocked places in eastern Ladakh, the two countries held a meeting for the first time. In this meeting, the first diplomatic talks considered the conclusions reached from the border dispute so that not only such incidents can be prevented in future but the armies of the two countries do not come face to face. Let us tell you that the military standoff between India and China in eastern Ladakh started in May 2020 and the clash in the Galwan Valley in June that year resulted in bitterness in relations between the two neighboring countries. Let us tell you that this deadlock ended a few weeks ago after the process of withdrawal of troops in Depsang and Demchok was completed.
